Dmytryk is a kind, sincere, inquisitive and cheerful boy. He is seven years old. Since childhood, he has loved horses. Although he has a dog and a cat at home, his biggest dream is to have his own horse. He admires horses with enthusiasm, rejoices at every opportunity to see them and sincerely believes that one day his dream will come true.

Recently, he was an ordinary boy who, like all children, was looking forward to his birthday. He was very happy about the holiday, made plans and dreamed of gifts. But exactly a week after his birthday, life changed dramatically for the whole family. Dmytryk was hospitalized in the hospital, where after an examination they diagnosed him with type 1 diabetes.

Since then, every day for Dmytryk and his parents has been a constant monitoring of glucose levels, counting carbohydrates, administering insulin and carefully monitoring their son’s well-being. Diabetes has no days off or holidays, so they are on call day and night.

There are two children in the family. Dmytryk is the eldest, and his younger sister, who is 6 years old, grows up next to him. She loves her brother very much, supports him and always worries about him. Together they do everything possible so that Dmytryk feels good and, despite the illness, has a happy childhood.

Thanks to constant monitoring, Dmytryk's condition is now stable, but this requires great physical, moral and financial efforts. For a safe life, he needs sensors for continuous glucose monitoring, test strips, insulin and other consumables. Sensors are especially important at night, because they help to notice a dangerous drop or increase in sugar levels in time.

Unfortunately, a significant part of the family budget is spent every month on treatment and diabetes control measures. It is very difficult for parents to provide all the necessary needs on their own, so they are forced to turn to caring people for help.

The biggest need for Dmytryk is to provide continuous glucose monitoring sensors and other diabetes management tools. These are not just medical devices - they are his safety, health, the opportunity to live an active childhood life and the chance to avoid dangerous complications.

Your help for the family is a chance to give Dmytryk a safer, calmer and happier childhood.
