Board games instead of gadgets

We are Zbaranskaya Darina Vladislavovna, Pavlyuchenko Svetlana Yuryevna and Artyushenko Valeria Vladimirovna (we are 55 years old for three), we are studying in the second year of Kharkov National Pedagogical University named after GS Skovoroda with a degree in Social Work. We really like to work with children, this opportunity has arisen more than once in the framework of internships at the university and volunteer activities. Now we have the opportunity to try ourselves as volunteer fundraisers. We hope that we will be able to improve and diversify children's leisure in the children's village «Otradnoye» and increase our skills in raising funds for social projects.

Nowadays, children are increasingly spending their leisure time on gadgets, forgetting about live communication. Because of this, it is very difficult for them to find common ground with each other and sometimes with their parents. In addition, many have intellectual disabilities and a lack of desire to learn. We have a slight difference in age with children being raised in Otradnoe Children's Village, so we ourselves see negative changes in children and young people of our generation.

The game, in our opinion, is a great way to solve these problems. During the game, all participants have the opportunity to communicate with each other, find a common language, express themselves, learn something new about their friends, identify leaders. In addition, the games we have selected for family-type children are helping to expand not only communication skills, but also improve school knowledge. The best leisure from the game is not only fun but also useful! In addition, the games are useful for adults: for parents, for caregivers. No contact with the baby? You are sure to debug it!
