I don't afraid to dream!

Zoe's disease came last autumn so suddenly that at first caught off guard. On vacation sixteen years old Zoe played pioneer ball in a sports camp and received a medal as the best player of the team. And in October 2015 the disease came: in school, in class. It becomes dull in her eyes, girl can't  breathe, her hands were cold, she fainted. At the same day, at the hospital mother with daughter know a disturbing truth: Zoya has heart disease, probably - cardiac anomaly.

An echocardiogram confirmed: patent ductus arteriosus. Kiev Heart Center surgeons insist on a gentle operation - a girl must be installed on a special channel "a patch" - the occluder. The operation can not be postponed, but the family can not collect 62 thousand UAH for the treatment of their daughter.

At sixteen, the future seems perfect: front-recklessly funny students, the romance of unknown roads, the sea of new friends and loyal love. Zoe also dream of becoming successful in everything, she dreams get two degrees (!);to become an architect, as her grandfather; or go the other way and choose the geography... 

But since that memorable October 2015, when there was the first attack, Zoe lives with an eye to her illness, and had to say goodbye to pioneer ball, and basketball, and ballroom dancing. But Zoe is not giving up, she is very single-minded and persistent girl, and do not succumb to the difficulties.

Zoe has already been in Amosov Institute, and the Heart Center in Kiev. Specialists from both clinics through echogram rendered a unanimous decision: girl problem can be solved only by endovascular surgery. However, Zoe cant expect that the necessar occluder will be purchased on the state budget: the past two years in Ukraine, only one of the five children's heart surgery funded by the state.

A family does not have available funds: Zoe's mother works in the municipal center of Podol districtfor  for twenty years, and she does not have chance to find a more promising job. "We have a reorganization of the company. Now I get less money, - says Julia - my husband's mother is disabled and she requires care. Husband with a bad back, too, works only in his seasonal earnings, non-permanent, and we need to save the child. For Zoe's mother now is important that near their homes will never stop Emergency Call service for Zoe, her daughter did not turn pale and he life was not in danger.
The dream - will certainly come true!
