Do not be indifferent

Kindness and compassion simply vital for all of us! This can happen to anyone and unfortunately none of us can be sure it will never happen to us. We urge all of you to help Volkovsky family from Kharkov! They have been left without shelter in fact. Yana Volkovskaya is a student, "Zavtra.ua" program fellow, active member and volunteer of many social and charity events.

October 2, 2012 10-storey building in Kharkov was caught in fire. It blew up on the 8th floor. Volkovsky family has been living upstairs. The fire spread to all the next apartments, the people who were at home, were trapped in the fire. Yana Volkovskaya, her mother, father and grandfather were at this time out of home the apartment was left only to their grandmother who got to the intensive care after the fire. The apartment is completely burnt out, the family lost everything in a few hours... where to go ... how to live. At that time the most important was the health of the grandmother but thanks God she’s been feeling better now.

Now the family Volkovsky needs your help. Financial situation is very critical. Yana Volkovskaya is a student of Kharkiv National University of Economics, "Zavtra.ua" program fellow, active member and volunteer of so many social and charity events, at the moment she is in a very difficult financial situation with her family, without shelter and means of existence. The balcony and a kitchen need to be restored first of all as there is the pass-through hole in the apartment and every day it is getting colder and colder. Parents earn little which is enough only for food and medicine for Yana’s grandmother.
