Do not let Artem fade away

Artem is 12 years old, and he is the only help for his mother and the only man in her home, because they have no other family members at all. An awful diagnosis – Ewing's sarcoma – stopped the time of their life. It is lovely summertime, and Artem's favorite football is waiting for him. But now the main goal for him – to overcome the disease. And to continue his struggle, the boy needs medicines for chemotherapy. Artem believes that we can help him to defeat the disease!

This cheerful boy immediately gets in your memory. It seems to be, when he was born the sun saw him, smiled him, touched him and generously gifted him with freckles. They shined on the boy's face as sunbeams, and he line a ray of the sun shine in his ward.

Artem is very friendly and funny boy, he is crazy on football. Almost all his life before the disease was devoted to this game: playing in his football section, watching the matches, dreams about Dynamo junior football team. Even nowadays, when he is bedridden suffering from sarcoma, all the his thoughts are only about chasing the ball on the field!

Unfortunately, all theses dreams have to remain only in the imagination, because the only meaningful aim for Artem now is to defeat the disease. And this means to undergo all the blocks of chemotherapy. The first to chemotherapy blocks were very difficult for him: the boy suffered from intestines problems and from the terrible pain in the leg. After a short break which he spent at home, Artem has returned to the hospital and started the next chemotherapy. his mum managed to by the medicine for the third chemotherapy block, But for the next one there are no medicine and there are no money to buy them too. The main medicines needed are Holoxan, Vincristine and Doxorubicine. They costs about 15 000 UAH. And this money is absolutely unreal sum for the single mother, who has no possibility to work, because she have to spend all her time with the son. But without these medicines it is impossible to treat sarcoma.

Artem has extremely strong desire to recover from the disease and to return to his school and his favorite football. And he has good chance to recover, as the sarcoma was diagnosed in a proper time and there is no metastasis. The only thing he needs to be healthy is to get the necessary medicine and to get the next chemotherapy in time. Let us help the future footballer and just a funny sunny boy to continue his struggle and to defeat the disease!
