Maksym is a kind, sincere and talented young man. Most of all he loves to create. Several times a week he attends an art school, where he studies drawing and music. In drawing lessons, Maksym enthusiastically creates bright pictures: landscapes, animals, fairy-tale characters and everything that his rich imagination suggests. And music gives him inspiration, a good mood and helps him express his feelings without words.
Another great hobby of Maksym is cycling. As soon as there is a free minute and good weather, he happily gets on his bike and goes for a ride. Riding gives him a feeling of freedom, strength and confidence. Along the way he admires nature, discovers new places and gets a charge of positive emotions.
But such rides have to be closely supervised, because physical activity can cause a sharp drop in his blood glucose. Since the age of four, Maksym has been living with type 1 diabetes. This means that every day begins and ends with taking care of his health. Every day he measures his blood glucose level, carefully monitors his well-being and follows all the recommendations of his doctors. The boy knows that taking responsibility for his own health helps him live a full and happy life.
Maksym dreams of growing up healthy, successful and happy. He knows that life sometimes presents a person with difficult challenges, but he also believes that if you do not lose hope, stay persistent and boldly move forward, you can make any dream come true. Despite all the difficulties, he does not let the disease take away his dreams. The young man studies, smiles, finds new hobbies and enjoys every day.
We can make life with diabetes easier, better and more manageable. For Maksym, diabetes is not an obstacle to an active life, but he needs continuous monitoring sensors to feel safe. Support him on the path to his dreams!
