We won't leave Anton in trouble!

Anton is the 3rd child in his family, the long-awaited son of parents. His older sisters are completely independent people, and the birth of son was a miracle for the family. Anton was born with a large tumor on buttocks. At the hospital he was dressed with nappy for 6-month babies. That tumor prevented the child to live. 3-month-old boy was operated to remove the tumor in the "OKHAMADYT" hospital in Kyiv. Material of tumor was sent directly to histology. Test result reassured Anton's parents and doctors, his tumor was proved as benign. At first. 

The baby grew a cheerful and curious boy, parents were very happy. Just sometimes the control medical tests in the local hospital inspired mother alarm. When the child was 2 years and three months old, he suddenly stopped eating and walking, became lethargic and irritable. He couldn't go to the toilet. Concerned parents consulted with many doctors. All prescribed drugs didn't help the boy.

The parents went to the Zhytomyr Regional Children's Hospital and got an appointment to the child's hematologist-oncologist. They reported doctor about symptoms and the boy was operated to remove the tumor 2 years ago. The doctor offered to check the material, collected during surgery. Rechecked result shocked all. According to the doctors, the tumor 2 years ago was teratoblastoma, and it's a growing malignant tumor. Anton was put into the hospital with a diagnosis terablastoma in cross-coccygeal part with MTS in the mediastinum and lymphadenopathy. Since February 2014 the baby is constantly in the hospital.

He already underwent 7 blocks of chemotherapy. The fight for life is not easy for the child. Blood counts constantly fell. He has the cramping, fever and nasal bleeding. Unfortunately, baby will meet the third birthday in the hospital because he starts the eighth unit of chemo on 15/08/2014. The boy was prescribed an expensive drug "Paclitaxel", 3 bottles of 100 mg. Each bottle costs 3 000 UAH. Total price of medicines is 9 000 UAH. Small family budget doesn't allow to purchase such an expensive drug for much-needed treatment.

Anton has a big chance to become a worthy member of society! He is not to blame for the disaster that happened with him, he is not to blame that the state budget has more important problem than the life of one little man! Don't leave Anton alone with his trouble!
