      Due to the boy’s deteriorating health and the fact that the operation could not be postponed any further, his parents decided, following consultations with doctors, to go ahead with the surgery on 5 November. There are only three weeks left until the scheduled date.
      Unfortunately, as the dobro.ua platform has ceased operations, we have been unable to raise the full amount required to cover the cost of the operation. Given the urgency of the situation and the need for the surgery to take place on time, we have asked our long-standing partners, the Charitable Organisation ‘Ukrainian Charity Exchange’, to consider allocating additional funds from their reserves. This will enable the family to prepare for the operation in good time and avoid it being postponed due to a lack of funds.
      We have therefore requested that the fundraising campaign be closed, that the project amount on the Ukrainian Charity Exchange be reduced to the amount actually raised, and that the funds be transferred to our bank account for the subsequent payment of the surgical procedure and project administration.
