Sad eyes, a serious in a not-childish way look and concern when mom is not within arm's reach are such a first impression of meeting Dania. He is only seven, and he hears almost nothing. He lives in his own special world, devoid of bright colors and multifaceted sounds, and therefore a little disturbing when there is no mother's hand nearby. Dania’s diagnosis was established recently, and to preserve hearing, he urgently needs hearing aids. 

Dania is the third, youngest child in a friendly family. Premature birth left an imprint on the health of the boy. Therefore, when at two years old Dania did not speak, and at three only separate words appeared, parents did not look for a reason, since the boy was always behind other children of his age. And only when he switched to sign language and began to make the sound on the TV louder, there was a suspicion of hearing problems.

In the hope of finding a reason for the delay in speech development, Daniil was examined by various specialists. In addition to deviations in the development of the central nervous system and poor sight, the boy was diagnosed with "hearing loss of the III-IV degree". Oticon hearing aids are vital for the boy’s perception of the world in all its glory, the formation of correct speech and further Dania’s education at school. Dania is kind, open and friendly boy - for these qualities he is loved by children from kindergarten and his native village, not noticing difficulties in communication at all. He is also a very caring boy and is kind to animals, so the cat Venya and the dog Rex became the most devoted friends, because they feel love without words.

For the sake of the child’s health, the family moved from the countryside to Zaporozhye: in the native village of Zavetnoie there are no conditions for the education of hearing-impaired children. Daniil is enrolled in a special school and is ready to deal with a teacher of persons who are hearing impaired as soon as he wears hearing aids. But the cost of 50,290 hryvnias is a pipe dream for a large family with a very modest income.
