Let the beat goes on-4
The number of preterm babies is growing in Ukraine. More than 20 000 babies were born this year, their weight was from 500 grams to 1 kilogram! Do these children survive? It depends on the availability of special apparatus in clinics. That’s why CF “Svichado” took a decision to help the National Children’s Clinic Hospital “Ohmatdyt” where there are a great number of preterm babies. The sensors for monitoring pulse and oxygen saturation for newborns is constantly needed in clinic.
Mother is bending over child’s bed. She is stroking its little hands, watching for every move and crying only with heart to not be seen by everyone. And she is singing songs with her lips as a prayer. The most important songs in the world are lullabies…
Preterm baby is not always parent’s guilt. Any mother without hesitation would give her life for her child. But sometimes it isn’t enough. The sensors for oxygen saturation are frequently more needed. This sensor works only twenty-four hours and quickly goes down. They need a lot and all the time!
Many preterm babies are delivered to the National Children’s Clinic Hospital “Ohmatdyt”. Their hearts are beating only because your heart isn’t hard-boiled and indifferent to other people’s grief.
Charity Fund «Svichado» would like to invite everyone to take part in the termless marathon «Let the beat goes on!» to raise funds for sensors for monitoring pulse and oxygen saturation for newborns.
God gives a life, it is his right. But nothing deprives us of the right to maintain this life, give it a sense and make it a real. Let the God has a chance to be proud of us...
