The baby needs money for surgery

Ten-month-old Mariya is a small but incredibly strong girl who has faced great challenges from the very first minutes of her life. She was born prematurely weighing only 900 grams, and from the very beginning she needed constant care and medical support. Mariyka was diagnosed with 3-4 degree hydrocephalus and retinopathy of both eyes – she has already undergone five complex surgeries for these diseases: three on the brain and two on the eyes. The family is doing everything possible to support her in this fight. However, now the girl needs another expensive surgery on her right eye to at least partially preserve her vision and get a chance to live a full life.

Mariya needs special daily sessions with a rehabilitation therapist to help her gradually gain weight and strengthen her muscles. The sessions help to develop her coordination and improve her physical condition, but every gram of weight comes with great effort. In addition, the girl occasionally has epileptic seizures, which require constant medical supervision, careful adjustment of treatment and the use of special medications. During this time, Mariyka has already undergone numerous examinations and tests so that doctors can choose the most effective therapy to help stabilize her condition.

Since April 2022, Mariyka's father has been heroically defending Ukraine on the front line, working in the ambulance service, where he saves lives of both military and civilians every day. He has already received a number of awards for his professionalism and dedication. His courage and selflessness are an example of true patriotism, as he continues to fulfill his mission even in difficult conditions. While Mariyka's father is defending the country, the girl's mother and grandmother are tirelessly taking care of her health and development, putting all their love and strength into her daily struggle for life. However, to continue treatment on her right eye, the family needs significant funds. Her mother is asking for help from kind people so that their daughter can get all the necessary funds for the operation.
