Daryna's difficult journey

Daryna is a long-awaited daughter in the family. The day after she was born, doctors heard a heart murmur in her heart, which caused them great concern. The very next day, the girl was diagnosed with a congenital heart defect. For 6 months, Darenka was under the supervision of doctors and developed like other children: she held her head, ate with a spoon, grabbed everything with her hands and showed interest in the outside world.

Since the heart defect was worsening the girl's condition, doctors decided to perform surgery. Daryna underwent the intervention, but the night after, her heart started bleeding. She spent a month in a coma under a ventilator, and fortunately, the girl was brought out of critical condition. After additional examinations, Daryna was also diagnosed with spasticity of the limbs, and a year later - brain atrophy. This was an incredible shock for the family, but they began to fight.

For 3 years after the first surgery, the girl did not respond to her parents or other people, she did not smile and always cried. Now Daryna is 8 years old, and during this time she has undergone 2 more necessary heart surgeries and has undergone many rehabilitation courses, thanks to which she has become a very sociable, smiling and cheerful girl. She has started to recognize her parents and brother, but still does not walk, talk, stand or pick up anything. Darynka needs to continue her treatment, and she needs our support.
