After Daryna was born, doctors discovered she had a congenital heart defect, which only worsened her condition over time. Doctors performed surgery, but on the night after the operation, her heart began to bleed. This was followed by a coma and mechanical ventilation, but fortunately, the girl was brought out of critical condition. After additional examinations, Daryna was diagnosed with limb spasticity, and a year later, brain atrophy.
For three years after the operation, the girl did not respond to people, she did not smile and always cried. Daryna is now 9 years old. During this time, she has undergone two more necessary heart surgeries and many courses of rehabilitation, thanks to which she has become more sociable and active. Her muscles have relaxed, Daryna can hold her head up longer, and she is developing better overall. Her parents also received advice on how to properly develop their daughter at home.
However, the girl's difficult journey continues: she still cannot roll over, crawl, stand, walk, talk, eat independently, or chew. Daryna really needs the help of specialists and rehabilitation centers, but her family no longer has the funds to pay for this. We ask you to join us in raising funds for a new course of rehabilitation and help Daryna.
