Natalia is 46 years old. Her daughter suffered a brain haemorrhage at birth, which led to cerebral palsy and epilepsy. Dasha is 21 years old and has been bedridden since birth. In December 2016, Natalia accidentally discovered a lump the size of a large pea in her right breast. Since then, she has been battling a terrible illness.
In accordance with Cooperation Agreement No. 21 between the Charitable Organisation International Charitable Foundation ‘Ukrainian Charity Exchange’ and the Charitable Aid Operator Charitable Foundation ‘POMAGAYEM’ dated 31 August 2020 and  Supplementary Agreement 21.295 dated 15 January 2025, the project ‘Unbreakable Motherly Love’ was launched on the website  of the Charitable Organisation International Charitable Foundation ‘UBB’ – dobro.ua – with the aim of raising donations to cover the cost of Natalia Grygorenko’s treatment.
Subsequently, there arose a need to use part of the funds raised on the website dobro.ua to purchase medicines for the woman. Therefore, in accordance with letters No. 165 dated 18 April 2025 and No. 11 dated 9 January 2026, we received the collected sum of 54,825.00 UAH (fifty-four thousand eight hundred and twenty-five hryvnias, 00 kopecks) and 69,515.00 UAH (sixty-nine thousand five hundred and fifteen hryvnias, 00 kopecks) into the Fund’s account and continued fundraising on the dobro.ua platform.
Throughout 2025, we supported Natalia with medicines totalling 54,825.00 UAH (fifty-four thousand eight hundred and twenty-five hryvnias, 00 kopecks), and in January of this year, we helped with medicines totalling 67,004.80 UAH (sixty-seven thousand and four hryvnias, 80 kopecks).
On 9 February 2026, thanks to donors from the Ukrainian Charity Exchange who contributed to Natalia’s fundraising campaign, we received 77,680.00 UAH (seventy-seven thousand six hundred and eighty hryvnias, 00 kopecks) into the Fund’s bank account to cover the woman’s treatment costs and project administration.
In February, Ms Natalia approached us with a request to purchase further medication to continue her course of treatment, which we did, at a cost of 23,819.50 UAH (twenty-three thousand eight hundred and nineteen hryvnias, 50 kopecks).
Natalia is currently undergoing treatment with the targeted drug Trastuzumab, which, fortunately, is available within the budget. In addition, she is taking oral chemotherapy with the drug Capecitabine. An injection of the drug Ixgeva is administered once every three months. A routine CT scan is scheduled for April, which will allow the progression of the disease to be assessed.
Natalia expresses her sincere gratitude to everyone who has contributed to the fundraising for her treatment. She wishes everyone good health and notes that without the support of caring people, her treatment would have been impossible.
We plan to use the remaining funds of 56,370.70 UAH (fifty-six thousand three hundred and seventy hryvnias, 70 kopecks) to meet Natalia’s needs in 2026.
We sincerely thank the donors and partners of dobro.ua for their help, and the UBB team for their long-standing cooperation!
