Delicate but persistent flower Margarytka

10-year-old Margaryta is shackled in a body she cannot control well. This is the result of her brain’s hypoxia or oxygen starvation. Margaryta was born prematurely  on the 28th week of her mother’s pregnancy. Straight after being born she could not breathe on her own. She spent first 4 months of her life in intensive care, and the next 8 – in the intensive care unit. On the second year of her life the girl still needed the special apparatus in order to breath.

Now Margaryta is confined to a wheelchair, her movements are uncoordinated, the girl cannot speak, eat or take care of herself. But at the same time, the girl is very fond of communication, animals and music. She enjoys putting jigsaw puzzles together and drawing pictures by holding a brush with her lips. Margaryta really needs movement, physical activity, special exercises. This can lead to her getting into more or less normal state. But it cannot be provided for the girl by her mother alone. Unfortunately, Margaryta’s mother is the only one who brings up and cares about the girl.

Without special classes, the girl's condition worsens every day. In this regard, Margaryta's mother asks everyone for help. In Odessa, there is a physical therapy room that specialises in remedial gymnastics and physical education. Such classes can help Margaryta to strengthen her body and, as a result, to improve her condition and general wellbeing, and therefore the quality of her as well as her mother’s life.
