New Year in the hospital

Are you are looking for a Christmas tree? Have you bought decorations? Has your child learned a poem by heart for Christmas celebration? Have you chosen a masquerade suit? Almost all people before New Year and Christmas holidays do these things. But in the hospital everything is different. This is the worst place to celebrate New Year and Christmas. Still, every little patient of the Department of Pediatric Neurosurgery wants holidays, gifts and a little bit of a miracle. We cannot cure the patients of this hospital by the magic wand but together we can create New Year fairy tale in every patients’ room.

This year we decided to buy a Christmas tree, garlands and decorations and, of course, gifts for little patients. Can you imagine this holiday without gifts? That’s how easily we can bring joy and happiness to every kid who is not able to celebrate it in a family circle. And, perhaps, in this fairy-tale atmosphere, little patients will get positive emotions so that in the new year their most cherished dream – to get well and to go home – came true.
