Matvii was recently born, he is only 4 months old. Months are not years, but he has already passed some difficult tests. The birth was difficult: he was not born alone, but together with his sister Sofia. The girl was born very quickly and by herself, while Matvii was born by cesarean section.
They were twins. This is such happiness for mom and dad, for grandparents. But, unfortunately, this great happiness was overshadowed. The parents learned about Matvii's illness – congenital cataracts. It was immediately noticeable that the baby was different from his sister: Sofia was hyperactive, cheerful and playful, while Matvii seemed to be floating in the clouds. He was looking for something that he couldn't see, but he could hear it.
Now the boy is very happy when his brother and sister play with him. He can't see them, but since birth he loves to play with them. Doctors gave Matvii a disappointing diagnosis when he was just one month old. Then there were constant trips to another city to see doctors, but their conclusion was the same – surgery, lens replacement and then a long rehabilitation. Only then will this beautiful and cheerful boy, who loves this world very much, be able to see his parents, brother and sister.
This surgery is a hope for a little child that his life can change for the better. The parents need to buy all the medical materials, including the lens, on their own. A family raising 4 children cannot afford the surgery on their own, so they are asking for help.
