Natalya is the mother of three wonderful children: 17-year-old daughter Daria and twin sons Volodymyr and Roman, who are 2 and a half years old. This family is from the city of Mykolaiv.

It so happened that the boys were "in a hurry" and were born prematurely, at 32 weeks of pregnancy. The birth was difficult... Immediately after the birth, one of the boys (Vovchyk) was transferred to the intensive care unit, where he spent 9 endless days. After resuscitation, the mother spent two months with her children in the neonatal ward. And finally it was all over. Finally they are home... But as it turned out later, it was only the beginning... The beginning of not understanding what is happening with Vovchyk. The child grew, but did not develop. Constant screaming and crying. To all my questions, the pediatrician answered that the child will recover within a year, that it is now covid, that there is no need to collect the virus in hospitals, that it is weak. But no, Vovchyk did not recover...

When the boys were eight months old and the difference in their development became clearly visible, the mother voluntarily admitted Vova to the inpatient neurological department of the regional children's hospital in Mykolaiv. And after a series of examinations, the child is diagnosed with symptomatic epilepsy. My mother lost her feet...

The wolf does not sit, does not walk by itself, holds its head weakly. Since then, the lives of mom and Vova have changed radically: constant rehabilitation measures, examinations, control of epileptic activity, taking antiepileptic drugs on a permanent basis. The drugs are not cheap. All of the above measures require significant funds on an ongoing basis, which, unfortunately, the Nikitin family does not have in sufficient quantity.
