Recover from a fire

On June 7, the Hope and Believers Charitable Foundation suffered a disaster. A fire broke out in the office where the foundation was working. No one was in the office at the time, and no one was injured. Firefighters managed to prevent the tragedy. The competent authorities are currently investigating the cause of the fire. The consequences of the fire are tangible, but not catastrophic. Office equipment and furniture burned down. The main archives and documentation are preserved. The room needs to be renovated.

The Hope and Believe Foundation has existed since 2005. The foundation is founded by volunteers, conducts public activities and is not funded by political parties, religious structures or financial groups. The main activity of the organization is to provide targeted assistance to children with serious and incurable diseases. In addition, the foundation provides support in the treatment of adults and the elderly. Monthly assistance was provided in 15-20 urgent cases in the total amount of UAH 250-300 thousand. In cooperation with the dobro.ua, the foundation has implemented more than 650 targeted assistance projects. Currently, all activities of the organization are under threat.

We have already found an opportunity to move to another room during the renovation. However, new furniture, appliances and repairs fall on the budget of the fund, which, unfortunately, will not be able to do it alone.

We understand that it is necessary to continue working and we have many commitments. We do not intend to stop and take the necessary measures, because 12-year-old Olya from Rivne, who needs medicine, Lyudmyla Viktorivna from Kharkiv, who has heart disease, and dozens of wards who will not cope with their grief without us are waiting for our support. We will be glad if you do not turn away from us during this difficult period for our organization. With the funds raised, we will make repairs in the room and purchase the necessary furniture and office equipment.
