Not long ago this fragile and delicate girl had a happy life: she was studying on the 3rd course of Mariupol music secondary school, national instruments department, guitar’ class. Since her childhood Olga was known as an active and communicative girl with her heart given to the music. Her eyes were always filled with warmth towards others and her smile gave happiness. But this young girl was diagnosed the terrible blood disease – acute lymphoblastic leukemia.

But in January 2015 Olga had found out that she is ill – she constantly felt unwell and started to lose weight. Olga’s parents were concerned about their daughter’s health. They consulted with doctors who recommended making an urgent blood analysis. The results showed that the hemoglobin concentration is very low. The repeated in the end of March 2015 analysis revealed malignant cells in the blood. The diagnosis – “the blood cancer” – sounded like a sentence for Kruzhilin’s family.

Olga’s life had changed in a one moment – the happiness of meeting friends, success in studying and coming spring had changed to the feeling of anxiety and hopelessness. There is no secret that the oncological treatment requires as physical strength though significant financial expenses.

Due to the required long and hard treatment, and also stressful military situation in the city, there was no confidence in that the chemotherapy course would be held till the end. The Mariupol medical specialists have recommended Kruzhilin’s family to go to Zaporizhzhia. On the 1st of April 2015 Olya have entered the treatment in the Department on children oncohematology of Zaporozhye regional hospital. Now she is passing through the starting stage of the first treatment protocol – this is the first step towards recovery. But Olga has the strong intention to defeat her disease. Despite the fact that the treatment had already significantly damaged her health she is optimistic and looks with hope on her own future!

Dear friends! «Our dearest Olga requires urgent help!» The life of this little girl now depends on medicines which become more and more expensive every day. To collect the necessary amount of money for Olga Kruzhilina’ medicines we are appealing to you, dear donors! Your kindness and sympathy will help this girl to defeat her hard disease – she will be able to play her favorite guitar and through the music rhythm thank everyone who made possible the melody of her life continue playing in her heart!
