A cancer-stricken mother begs for help

In February 2023, Svitlana began to feel unwell. At the time, she was in Ivano-Frankivsk with her children and nephews. Since the beginning of the war, it had been very hot near Kharkiv, and the woman left the city. Her husband stayed behind and met his wife a year after the war started. Svitlana went to the doctors.

That's how long examinations began. Svitlana's health was deteriorating very quickly. Unfortunately, the suspicion of cancer was confirmed by CT and MRI scans. As a result of six chemotherapies and two surgeries, doctors managed to remove the tumors and stop the development of metastases. To achieve these results, the family spent all their money and received help from philanthropists. But the treatment is not over yet – Svitlana needs expensive medications again to maintain the results.

The woman is very grateful to the people who help her, because oncology treatment is incredibly expensive. She is grateful to every person she has met in her life. Svitlana hopes for recovery, because her family, friends, favorite job and dreams of grandchildren encourage her to recover. Life is beautiful and amazing.
