Surgery for Danyil

This kind and cheerful boy tries to look in the camera but he doesn’t manage to do it well. Now his eyesight is poor, he cannot focus it and moreover he cannot walk properly… Danyil has a brain tumor. The doctors performed an operation to install a shunt system to normalize high pressure caused by the tumor. The boy needs one more surgery to remove the tumor. However, the family with many children cannot afford to buy all the medicines and medical materials required for the surgery but not available at the hospital. The parents ask all people who are not indifferent to help them.

Danyil is the second of six children. Since birth he had an inborn heart defect and went to consult the doctors for on a regular basis. Three years ago the boy started having problems with his legs, so he couldn’t walk properly. The parents brought him to different doctors but they couldn’t find anything related to their specialization. A month ago the boy’s condition worsened and the doctors prescribed a MRI examination. In such a way a tumor was detected.

Danyil was sent to the Institute of Neurosurgery for a surgery. After examinations it turned out that the boy needed an urgent surgery to install a shunt system. The parents took all their savings, bought a system and medicines for a surgery. However, the boy needs one more complicated surgery to remove the tumor. His family cannot afford to buy all the necessary medicines and medical materials required for the surgery, that’s why they ask for help.
