KP "Dnipropetrovsk Regional Children's Clinical Hospital" DOR is a center for specialized medical care for children from Dnipropetrovsk region (population of about 550 thousand) and children from nearby regions, including Lugansk and Donetsk regions, as well as neighboring. The hospital is designed for 645 beds, which in 2021 treated 16,278 patients, in the first quarter of 2022 - almost 5,000 patients.
Since the beginning of the Russian Federation's war against Ukraine and under martial law, the hospital has become one of the few to provide treatment to wounded children injured in combat zones and to provide assistance to injured adults in accordance with martial law. Affected children often come to the institution accompanied by relatives who are also seriously injured. Every day the hospital performs from 50 to 70 surgeries of various levels of complexity.
The increase in the number of children affected, as well as the increase in the region's child population due to migration caused by the war, has led to a critical increase in the workload and the need to deploy extra beds, including traumatology, rehabilitation, surgery and maxillofacial surgery. adults and additional operating rooms, as well as upgrading existing equipment in operating rooms for timely provision of quality medical care to patients.
Today the hospital needs additional medical equipment of expert class, namely: Operating table electro-hydraulic SU-03 with additional equipment. The operating table will be located in the emergency operating room, which works with the highest load and where the most complex surgical interventions are performed.
