Renting a vehicle to help the elderly

Despite the brutal war, our organization continues to help lonely elderly people. Many of them are unable to move around on their own and need constant assistance. 

We are currently active in 14 regions of Ukraine. Every month we deliver food, medicines, personal care products, wheelchairs, household items and even furniture to the elderly. Our help can save many lives, so it is important to respond to requests for assistance quickly and deliver it on time.

That is why we often need transportation to be able to deliver aid to our beneficiaries at any time and place. A car is an important tool for us to provide timely assistance. We spend most of our working day loading, transporting, unloading, and driving over any obstacles. Finding and engaging volunteer vehicles to deliver aid on a regular basis is a difficult and, unfortunately, not always reliable task.

We have partners who help us with humanitarian aid, food, diapers, medical equipment, etc. But without a car, we often cannot deliver the aid on time and to the right place. That is why we have launched a fundraiser to rent a car, thanks to which we plan to promptly deliver the most necessary assistance to elderly people who need help and support.
