Special poetry

The heavily handicapped youth gains the social and household skills, learns to be independent and works in the art-therapy workshops in the "Dzherelo" Centre’s Workshops for Youth with special needs. The girls with disabilities in the Centre dream of representing the strong special youth of Ukraine in the International Poetry Festival "Rozwijamy skrzydla" in Poland. They compose a lot of poems. This poetry is an example of the outstanding victory, an inspiration for every of us. These are the works of art from the bottom of their hearts, every word is filled with deep love to life.

The Festival will be held on the 25th of April, 2015 in the city of Gliwice (Poland). The handicapped youth of the “Dzherelo” took part in the Festival a year before, the Workshops care recipient Anna Zvyazok was granted the 2nd prize, the other girl – Olya Drahan was rewarded by the jury. Then unfortunately our girls were not able to attend the Festival personally and represent their poetry. All the rewards and certificates were sent to them by post. This year another reward was announced within the Festival – the Ania Danilowska prize. The winner will be rewarded for the best presentation of the poetry, which provides the personal presence at the closing evening.
