Special meals for special children

Unfortunately, not all diseases can be cured. It is the sad reality. Scary words like hospice, palliative, incurable, which for a majority of people are simply incomprehensible for others have become a part of their everyday life. Among the children we take care of there are also those in need of particular treatment which will make their incurable disease not so painful.

Recently first mobile children’s hospice has started its functioning in Lviv and now our main goal is to supply our little patients with special nutrition. Majority of these kids have to breathe, chewing and swallowing problems. They cannot eat regular food that is why it is of most importance that they get special nutrition which will provide them with all the elements that a child’s organism needs. This is something that they are currently desperately in need of and something that we can actually do for them. Eighty-nine jars of special nutrition “Resource junior” 400 gr are needed to feed 12 children of this hospice.

Monthly expenses to do this would be 30 373 UAH. We want to help those kids with the annual supply of special nutrition. To make it possible we need 364 487 UAH. It will help the kids to resist different illnesses and to get the necessary vitamins to make their life longer and of higher quality. It will also make the feeding process easier for both children and their parents.
