Arming Aryna against Crohn's disease

    In 2014, six-year-old Aryna saw missiles destroying Donetsk airport from her window. Long-term work with a psychologist after moving to Pavlohrad helped to reduce the impact of traumatic memories. In 2022, Aryna’s panic attacks resumed. And in 2024, she suddenly developed intestinal bleeding. After examinations, she was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease.
      In accordance with Agreement No. 21 on Cooperation between the Ukrainian Charity Exchange and the Charity Aid Operator of the Pomagay Foundation dated 08/31/2020 and Additional Agreement No. 21.300 dated 02/20/2025, the project “Arm Aryna against Crohn’s Disease” was posted on the dobro.ua website in order to attract charitable donations to pay for the treatment of Aryna Piddubnaya.
      During the collection, there was a need to use part of the funds collected on the website of the ICF "Ukrainian Charity Exchange" - dobro.ua - to purchase medicines for the girl. Therefore, according to letters No. 132 dated 03/25/2025, No. 168 dated 04/28/2025 and No. 401 dated 08/05/2025, we received the collected UAH 17,000.00 (seventeen thousand hryvnias, 00 kopecks), UAH 16,000.00 (sixteen thousand hryvnias, 00 kopecks) and UAH 13,100.00 (thirteen thousand one hundred hryvnias, 00 kopecks) to the Fund's account and continued the collection on the dobro.ua platform.
      In April of this year, we purchased the drug "Humira" for Arina for the amount of UAH 17,000.00 (seventeen thousand hryvnias, 00 kopecks), in June we ordered enteral nutrition for the girl for the amount of UAH 12,794.58 (twelve thousand seven hundred ninety-four hryvnias, 58 kopecks), in August we helped with medications worth a total of UAH 12,095.60 (twelve thousand ninety-five hryvnias, 60 kopecks), and in November we provided assistance for the amount of UAH 1,009.82 (one thousand nine hryvnias, 82 kopecks).
      We have some not-so-good news from the girl's mother. An operation was scheduled for early December in a Kyiv hospital. However, when Arina arrived with her mother and preparations began, the girl started bleeding again. It lasted three days, and the amount of blood reached about a tablespoon. The bleeding was stopped, additional tests were taken and sent to Germany. Now the family is waiting for the results. A new drug, Butenofalalc, was also prescribed, which is quite expensive. Let's keep our fingers crossed and hope that everything will get better for the mother and daughter soon.
      Currently, all the funds that were transferred from the Ukrainian Charity Exchange have been spent on the needs of the child, the project is still collecting funds.
