"What am I to do? How should I act? Where can I get money? Where can I get strength and patience?" You can read sa many questions in the eyes of a desperate Mother. Yes, Mother with a capital letter. She is quiet, gentle, warm but now she is al constantly crying. She is crying because her son needs chemotherapy drugs to continue treatment. There is no such medication at the department and there will be no provision in the immediate future but he must start his chemo cycle urgently. Can life be destroyed with just a piece of paper with a bill?

Mykyta fell ill in 2012. He complained of pain in the arm as there was a neoplasm. During the examination a tumor was detected and a diagnosis was made: rhabdomyosarcoma. They began a long treatment. In August 2014 the boy’s arm was amputated. Now enhanced chemotherapy treatment is performed.

During the whole period of treatment the family never asked us for help, they tried to cope on their own but the crisis was the last straw for them. They cannot buy chemotherapy drugs as the bill is more than 18 000 UAH and it is unaffordable for them.

Mykyta has always dreamed of becoming a football player but during his treatment he corrected his dream a bit. Now he wants to be a sports commentator! His mother’s dream is to see her son healthy and to forget about treatment time as a nightmare! So we would like to wish him to score a penalty against his disease and then to give his excellent commentary of the goal!
