Migrants – life after occupation

Today, in such a difficult time, charitable foundation “Caritas of Kolomiya-Chernivtsi Eparchy” deals with problem of migrants from eastern regions of Ukraine and AR Crimea. During six months our fund had helped more than 2 000 people, who received help of different type: clothes, shoes, food, personal hygiene items, habitation; some people have even been employed. Today we need foodstuffs for migrants, because more than 150 people may be left without food.

Thanks to the help of foreign and Ukrainian donators we were able to provide these people with everything they needed to survive winter and make them feel at home. Due to our help people solve all problems associated with this uneasy situation. Let us not stay aside this difficult problem and make our small, but substantial contribution to overcome crisis in families which had left their homes to create their own future without persecution on political grounds and without threat for lives of their relatives and their own. We cannot leave them in such an uneasy time!

It is hard to support yourself and your family when you don’t have a job. Therefore, we ask everyone who cares to help with money so we could buy food sets and provide at least 150 people with food.
