Help displaced Ukrainians survive the winter
Countless people are suffering because of the war started by the Russian Federation on the territory of Ukraine. Peaceful Ukrainian residents – families, mothers with children, elderly people lose their homes every day due to constant shelling of cities and the occupation regime. Permanent danger hangs over our lives and the lives of our children. People from the most hot spots are forced to leave their homes -–often whole, but often the ruins left behind by Russian missiles. Today, about 17 million Ukrainians were forced to change their place of residence fleeing the war
Places of compact residence were created for the forcibly displaced people throughout the more or less safe territory of Ukraine, on the basis of educational institutions, sanatoriums, etc., where people come and can live there indefinitely. These institutions, with the support of charitable foundations, volunteers and caring people, provide the victims with sleeping places, essentials, and food.
Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion by the Russian Federation, our foundation has been supporting internally displaced persons living in such hostels. During this time, we provided about 60 different centers, helped 7,000 families, handed over 4 million hryvnias worth of food, medicine, and basic necessities.
The heating season in 2022 in Ukraine promises to be difficult, because currently there is a shortage of gas and coal in the country. Throughout the territory of Ukraine, the enemy is constantly destroying infrastructure facilities that provide heat, hot water and gas to ordinary civilian facilities. Therefore, it is a strategically important task to prepare institutions where refugees live for the cold season, namely, provision of food supplies, equipment for warm sleeping places, purchase of air and hot water heating systems, creation of stocks of firewood and warm things, insulation of premises, entrance groups and window frames as well as the provision of medicines for the treatment of acute respiratory diseases.
Having collected UAH 500,000 we will be able to provide about 25 hostels for refugees with the necessary equipment, which in turn will help approximately 2,800 families. Dormitories that will receive assistance as a result of this project are located in Lviv, Zakarpattia, Ternopil, Ivano-Frankivsk, Volyn, Chernivtsi, Khmelnytskyi, Rivne, Kirovohrad, Poltava, Vinnytsia, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Odesa regions.
Today, your urgent assistance is helping innocent civilians of Ukraine to survive the winter of 2022.
