One day Matvii suddenly felt very unwell. He was admitted to intensive care, where after examinations his parents heard a devastating diagnosis – type 1 diabetes.
This diagnosis completely changed the life of the family. Matviichyk is still so young, yet he is already forced to fight this illness every day. Constant pricks on his tiny fingers, blood sugar monitoring, insulin injections, and round-the-clock observation of his condition have become the new reality.
Matviichyk is just 1 year and 5 months old, and he loves life dearly. Matvii is growing up as a cheerful, curious, and sincere little boy. He smiles constantly, loves to play, explore everything around him, and find joy in every new day.
Despite the fact that Matvii's parents are students, they do everything they can to provide their son with the necessary treatment. However, life with diabetes requires significant and ongoing costs. They regularly need to purchase continuous glucose monitoring sensors, consumables, insulin, and other supplies on which Matviichyk's health and safety depend. Thanks to continuous monitoring and treatment, his condition is currently stable.
Despite all the trials, Matviichyk remains a smiling, cheerful boy who wakes up every morning eager to discover the world around him. Today this smiling little boy needs our support. The ongoing costs of treatment are a heavy burden for a young family that is only just starting out on its journey.
We ask you to help provide Matvii with the glucose monitoring sensors he needs, without which a safe life is not possible. Every contribution you make is peace of mind for his parents, stability for the child, and one more step toward his healthy and happy childhood.
