Bogdanchyk helps Zakharchyk!

Friends! We have raised funds to purchase plates and screws for cranioplasty for Bohdan Lytvynchuk. Unfortunately, the child cannot undergo surgery for a number of reasons. But Skoryk Zakharchyk is in the neurosurgery department of the National School of Neurosurgery of the OKHMATDYT, and he really needs cranioplasty. Now the medical expenses ordered for Bohdanchuk can save Zakharchyk.

Zahar is almost 10 months old. He is the little sunshine of his family. Smiling, attentive, sincere, and curious. He adores his older brothers and tries to imitate everything they do: waving his little hands, reaching for hugs, and freezing in delight at his favorite melodies. But now, Zahar needs our help to get a chance for a healthy future…

Everything happened suddenly: his parents noticed that the shape of his head was not changing. After examinations, Zahar was diagnosed with craniosynostosis — premature fusion of the skull sutures, which, without surgery, can lead to serious consequences. But the boy has a chance for a healthy future, and he needs a complex reconstructive surgery!

The surgery has been approved by one of the best neurosurgeons — Pavlo Plavky at the “Okhmatdyt” National Children’s Hospital. However, although the operation will take place in a state hospital, the family must cover the cost of consumable materials, which amounts to over 200 thousand UAH

The parents have already purchased some of the necessary items: medicines, care supplies, and paid for examinations. But all their resources are exhausted. This amount is unaffordable for the family. Friends, we can help!

Mom is constantly by her son’s side in the hospital, while Dad serves in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. They sincerely dream of one thing: that Zahar will have a childhood, not hospital walls. That his smile will no longer alternate with IV drips.

Despite everything, Zahar is holding on! He reaches out to other children, smiles at nurses, and seems to give everyone a little bit of light. His older brothers are eagerly waiting for him at home and send him “kisses through the phone” every day.
