To create a specialized area for playing petanque, a plot of 12 m by 3 m was prepared. The ground was removed to a depth of 150 mm. A wooden frame was constructed along the perimeter of the recess, reinforced with transverse slats. The wooden frame was previously treated with a fire retardant solution. Crushed stone of different fractions in three layers was laid and tamped into the leveled depression. After the final improvement of the site, competitions were held using special petanque balls.
