Unfortunately, old people face a lot of problems and challenges today: loneliness, small pensions, difficulties in communicating with others. But in addition, they are affected by diseases that forever make the elderly hostage to their own apartment and bed. These are serious incurable diseases that make a person a palliative patient. Along with them comes their dependence on hygiene products: diapers, nappies, and so on.

KRCF "Social Assistance Service" has been implementing the project "Palliative Care at Home" since 2011. Our beneficiaries regularly receive social, medical and psychological services. In addition to social support within the project, we support old people with diapers, wet wipes, etc. These things are very important for them, because they give the opportunity to live a better life. In addition, they maintain their psychological health, not allowing them to fall into the abyss of helplessness and shame for their own weakness. It also gives relatives the opportunity to live their own lives and do the necessary things for at least some time a day. Unfortunately, the prices for these things are high, and patients and their relatives do not always have free money to buy diapers or pads.
