Support little Matvii

Matvii is 7 months old. The little boy loves looking at colorful pictures, playing with his favorite toys, and listening to children’s songs.

Matvii was born into a family of internally displaced persons (IDPs) from Vuhledar and now lives with his mother in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. He has been diagnosed with craniosynostosis. Matvii regularly undergoes check-ups with a neurologist and ophthalmologist and is registered at the follow-up care office in Dnipro. Currently, the condition is not actively progressing, but an operation ahead is necessary to help him grow up healthy.

Matvii’s mother raises him alone and spends all their resources on monthly check-ups, doctor consultations, and rehabilitation. The cost of materials for the surgery is very high, and the family cannot raise almost 300,000 UAH on their own.

Every day, Matvii explores the world: he is beginning to crawl on his back and in circles, actively investigates his surroundings, smiles, hugs, and spreads warmth to those around him.
