Maintain the dignity of the elderly

This project is raising very delicate problem. It is not common to talk about it. People suffer silently. It causes not only physical but also psychological discomfort. This is an age-related incontinence problem. It is common, but the elderly are embarrassed to voice it. Nobody is protected from the old age and diseases that cause problems with the normal functioning of the body. But how many people are able to show respect for the person and honor the "noble old age" when a strong unpleasant smell emanates from a person?

In old age, incontinence can occur while sneezing, coughing or laughing, in severe cases a person completely can't control the work of the bladder or intestine. This problem can be solved with the help of hygienic products – urinals - or by using diapers and urological pads. This will significantly improve the quality of personal hygiene, as well as the comfort of the elderly person and the people around him.
Our foundation is taking care of about 30 elderly among IDPs. 6 of them need personal hygienic means. They were forced to leave their homes and settle down from scratch, they rent apartments and pay a lot for utility, all this, including a very low pension put the elderly people on the edge of surviving. Under such conditions it is just impossible to buy hygiene means.
Without severe need they are trying not to go outside, they are homebound, they are only dreaming about activities or visiting public places.
But we are those, who can start to help in solving this issue. We can give to these elderly people not just hygienic means, but fearless freedom of movement and a good mood!
