Help Mykolaiv Zoo!

In August 2022, the project "Support the Mykolaiv Zoo!" was posted on the website of the "UBB" Bank of Ukraine - dobro.ua, the purpose of which was to raise funds for food for animals in the Mykolaiv Zoo in the amount of UAH 200,000.00.
There are 4,000 animals living in the zoo, unfortunately, starting from February 24, 2022, the budget of the zoo is not enough to maintain such a large number of animals and staff, because for some time the doors of the zoo were closed completely, and now it is partially functioning. The organization survives to a greater extent at the expense of charitable donations. The need for food always exists. Animals need 200 kg of carrots, 150 kg of cabbage and 150 kg of beets per day.
The collection was completed in January, and in February all fodder was already handed over. We bought vegetables in the form of carrots, beets, garlic, cabbage, onions, which are eaten by giraffes, horses, hippos, elephants and other animals. Purchased food is a month's feeding of animals.
