Pills for old people. 2
The term – forced migrant is not existing in Ukraine, so there is neither state program of support nor clear legal status. People, who escape horrors of military conflict are left with their problems alone. The elderly people are the most affected. Is it possible to leave native places and start everything from the very beginning and not to break down? They are surviving. By themselves. In the way, they can. When they have to choose or to buy medication or to pay for apartment – they are choosing an apartment. Because they have nowhere to return.

With the support of Ukrainian Philanthropic Marketplace and those who care, we already have provided 6 internally displaced elderly with vitally important medication. And continue to introduce to you elderly, who need your help.
Couple – Natalia Grygorivna and Valeriy Anatolievich. They are together since 1975. They had ups and downs in their lives. But they stay loyal to each other. She had a stroke because of being under shelling. He suffers from Parkinson's disease. They are sharing medication for two. Half and a half. Maybe it will help. But for two of them. Olga Ivanovna is a widow. She suffers from heart disease and diabetes. Her apartment in Donetsk is destroyed. Ludmila Oleksiivna got a hard injury in 2014 in Donetsk. To Kiev, she was brought by volunteers. Without belongings and documents. She was helped to renew passport. But lost health can't be returned. A woman needs pain reducing medication and maintenance heart therapy.Gennadiy Bekmirzovich lived in Luhansk region since 1988. He had to leave because his native village is no longer Ukraine. Man suffers from cancer and lives together with his mentally disabled son.
The most terrible thing for the person - is to be abandoned and not needed. Help us to prove to these elderly, that they are not alone, that there are many Ukrainians around, who will not let them down!
