After cancer – a chance for Illia’s recovery

In February 2024, Ilya underwent a complex operation. After it, there was brain ischemia, a week of coma and a month in intensive care. The treatment continued: chemotherapy, radiation therapy, as well as complications after the missile strike on "Okhmatdyt". From the first days of rehabilitation, a physical therapist worked with him to prevent contractures and restore lost functions.
Ilya had a tracheostomy tube, did not speak, communicated with gestures and the alphabet - he composes words by letters. Even the simplest actions are a big challenge for him.
But there is a chance to return to a full life! He urgently needs long-term rehabilitation. 

Thanks to the funds raised, Ilya underwent a 31-day rehabilitation course. It is too early to talk about the full restoration of functions, but at this point Ilya's tracheostomy tube was removed, he is making progress in pronunciation, standing, and is taking positive steps towards restoration. 
Initially, it was planned to collect 250600.00 UAH. (two hundred fifty thousand six hundred UAH. 00 kopecks) But various sources were involved in the fundraising. That is why, according to the letter Ex.: 1/ 0812 dated 01.12.2025, the project amount was reduced to 227800 (two hundred twenty-seven thousand eight hundred) UAH. 00
