Svitlana has been living with her mom at the hospital for almost six months now. The little girl has a serious diagnosis – neuroblastoma with metastases in the bone marrow and in the brain. One of the metastases pressed on the optic nerve and the girl lost to sight. The little one can only hear her mom but cannot see her. Chemotherapy worked well, the tumor responded to treatment and decreased. Now it is important to define the next therapy accurately and for this purpose, it is necessary to undergo MIBG scanning which is not performed in this country.

This extremely necessary examination can be held in Italy, in Bergamo. The Clinic sent a bill of 522 euros. The young family doesn’t have such an amount because they have spent everything they had on Svitlana’s treatment. Her mom truly hopes that after the examination the doctors will be able to prescribe further effective treatment. She believes that Svitlana will live and will regain her eyesight because the world is so bright and her daughter has to see it!
