To overcome cancer and infection

Vika has been hospitalized for more than six months. She had just finished the first grade at school when she fell seriously ill. So unlike her peers, the girl didn’t have summer and Christmas holidays. Instead, she has been at the hospital for eight months treated for leukemia. And in addition, infections attack her body. Such a serious disease as leukemia is accompanied by stomatitis, lesions of the bronchial tract and of the digestive system and it causes more suffering. It’s impossible to cope without expensive antibiotics.

The girl is the only daughter of the parents. Her dad Roman is in the military and he took part in the combat operations in the East of the country. Now, when his child fell ill, he returned home to maintain his wife and his daughter.

Before she fell ill Vika had a fascinating hobby: pottery. But, of course, it is impossible to install a potter’s wheel in the hospital, there even the smallest speck of dust may cause irreparable damage, may cause infection and complications to the already weakened body.

When the family faces cancer, they have to hope for a miracle. Vika needs Medicines that are not available at the hospital but their price is higher than her father’s monthly salary. Unfortunately, there is always a list of drugs that are not provided by the department. That’s the situation with antibiotics that the girl needs.
