The gap between Artem Novikov and us is not difficult to bridge – ordinary hearing aids will become a bridge. For most of his 14 years, Artem has lived in a world of silence. It's time to fill this silence with sounds.

Artem is the second child in the family of Julia and Alexander. The older brother is already a student, and the younger sister is in second grade. Artemka was born on time, weighed 4600 g, a real hero. Developed by age, at three years old went to kindergarten. The only thing that differed from his peers was that he didn’t speak, he could only pronounce the words "mother" and "father". Parents hoped that the son would still catch up.

But time passed, and Artem did not begin to speak. In the end, the kindergarten teacher shared her concerns with her parents. The boy did not respond to the addressed speech, did not respond to the name. Concerned parents rushed to do examinations and soon heard a disappointing diagnosis from doctors: grade 4 hearing loss. At 7 years old, Artyom was given disability and sent to a special school for hearing impaired children. But a few months later, Julia was forced to pick up her son: Artem could not find a common language with other children. An additional examination showed that Artyom was mentally retarded.

Artem is a cheerful and cheerful guy who loves to play computer games, draw and do needlework. She loves fishing, loves to ride a bicycle, play with her favorite shepherd dog Rick. He is Mom's first au pair. The only thing that upsets the guy is the inability to hear the sounds of the world. The hearing aid, which was issued by the state in 2016, did not last long. One day, Artyom fell into the rain, and the device stopped working.
