This year Yaroslav went to school for the first time. However, he has his classes at home and not with his peers. It is necessary to reduce the risk of infection. Yaroslav survived complicated cancer treatment of neuroblastoma. He survived it twice because the doctors detected recurrence and he had to undergo bone marrow transplantation. Yasak's passed his childhood on a hospital bed with painful needles in the veins, and now the boy wanted to catch up: to ride a bike, to go for a picnic with mom and dad, to play on the playground.

However, the family can be sure about tomorrow only after MIBG scan which is not performed in Ukraine. The first signs of the disease appeared in 2014, then Yasyk was only 2 years old.

After the treatment the parents hoped for the best but, unfortunately, CT showed a recurrence. As a result of the council, the doctors advised to continue treatment abroad, that is to perform bone marrow transplantation. The family raised funds for the necessary treatment. Only MIBG scanning can confirm it if it was successful. The price of 522 euros seems not very big but not for the parents who have spent everything to save their son. The Italian clinic is waiting for the patient on October 17th.

Let’s give hope to Yasyk!
