Let's give hope for a dance!
Veronica was born in November 2008 and was a very long awaited child. While waiting for the girl, the parents imagined a completely different life for themselves and made completely different plans. From the first days and receiving the diagnosis of Spina-Bifida, the struggle for health began, and immediately the child underwent a serious operation on the spinal cord.
Despite a serious problem, the girl from childhood was brought up as a full-fledged child with many hobbies: from the age of five she was playing the piano, drawing. She also actively participated in school life with her classmates, including in anti-drug propaganda. Now the girl is an excellent student in the sixth grade, every year she had a certificate of honor for excellent teaching. Veronica is very sociable, has many friends who always support her in everything, and especially in her desire to walk with her feet and make her dreams come true.
Veronica is a very hardworking and purposeful girl who achieves all the tasks assigned to her. During her twelve years, Veronica had eight major operations, including operations that were associated not only with the spinal cord, but also with the kidneys and maintaining their correct functioning. The operations were followed by rehabilitation courses, a lot of time was spent in clinics and hospitals - all with the aim of getting on their feet and walking. She underwent three or four serious rehabilitations once a year, which helped her to become stronger.
In support of another major operation, which was carried out in 2019, a musical was organized, where our Veronica was in the lead role. Since then, she fell in love with choreography, so her parents took her to study at the INDIGO-DANCE dance studio. She took part in the all-Ukrainian festival, concerts, where she won first places. Veronica was noticed by the Ukrainian Paralympic Wheelchair Dance Sport Team. The child's very strong desire to engage in this kind of sport turned into a dream to bring awards for Ukraine. This year Veronica was at her first Championship of Ukraine, where she had prizes in the programs: "Singles" and "Solo Freestyle". To practice this kind of sport, you need a professional dance stroller. Its cost: 42400 UAH, and this is an unbearable amount for a family. For such intensive training, rehabilitation can even be ruled out.
Parents very much ask all caring people to help purchase such a stroller, so as not only to study, but also to bring awards for our country.
