Anastasia from Vinnytsia region is going to turn thirteen in June. Nastia is a smart, sociable and talented girl. She does well at school, loves to draw and has many friends. The girl grows up in a happy and loving family. But 7 years ago, a terrible disease broke into her life – insulin-dependent type 1 diabetes. Mom remembers that day as the most horrible dream in their lives. High blood sugar, intensive care, tests, punctures of tiny fingers 15 times a day and the first insulin injections. Nastia also fell into a coma. Despair, crying, pain, and the question “why and where did this disease come from?”.
It was hard to come to terms with it... It seemed like the world had turned upside down. Since then, Nastia's condition has been under constant control and attention. After all, everyone knows about the consequences that arise if blood sugar is not controlled. Pulling themselves together, the parents realized that life goes on. They are happy that Nastia is in their lives and will do everything to give her a happy childhood and a life without pain. Unfortunately, not everything is possible, because it is very expensive to fulfill all the necessary treatment conditions.
Anastasia and her family are asking for help with the purchase of blood sugar monitoring sensors, as the family is unable to provide them to their daughter on a regular basis. Please give Nastia a happy smile.
