The birth of a child is always a great joy, but sometimes it is intertwined with trials. This is exactly what happened to the family of little Melania, the youngest of three daughters.

The girl was born with Down syndrome and also has other complex diagnoses: congenital cardiopathy, bilateral chronic pulmonary hypertension, and flat feet.

From the first months of her life, Melania has been undergoing rehabilitation courses to help her learn about the world and gradually develop. At the age of 4.5, she still does not speak, but her sessions with specialists are showing positive dynamics. To support her development, she needs a new rehabilitation course at the Sofia Health Centre, which includes:

  • speech therapist (speech development),

  • child psychologist (emotional support)

  • physical therapist (motor activity),

  • massage (general strengthening of the body).

The total cost of the course is UAH 30,700. This amount is too much for the family, so they are asking for help from everyone who cares.

Please support little Melania – each contribution brings her closer to a happy childhood and a full life.
