Oleksiyko gives Daryna hope

Friends! You and I raised funds to purchase a programmable shunt for Oleksiichyk, who has been fighting a terrible disease since birth - congenital critical hydrocephalus. The shunt was purchased, but, unfortunately, the boy's condition cannot be stabilized, which means that it is impossible to perform an operation to install it shunt. Therefore, the Care Operator asked us to transfer it to another patient of the neurosurgery department of St. Nicholas Hospital, who currently needs the same treatment. Now the shunt already purchased will be able to save the life of tiny Darina Volosyanska.

Darynka is only 11 months old, yet she is already a true heroine.

With a heart full of poignant pain, we turn to you with words of request and hope. Since birth, Darynka has been forced to fight a terrible disease – congenital critical hydrocephalus, which has turned her little world into a struggle for every day, for every breath. She has already been through a lot, but her strength inspires us.

A programmable shunt will allow precise control of the pressure in the brain and provide an individual approach to Darynka's further treatment, thereby reducing the need for additional surgical interventions. This method not only can alleviate symptoms and improve the quality of life for the little patient but also gives a chance for a healthier and happier future.
