This is the next project to help elderly people from "Caritas", this time – in Ternopil. About 30 UAH is a sum of money that Ukraine determines as sufficient for one day of life and health support for an elderly person or an individual who has lost ability to work. That's why thens of thousands of lonely elderly people and terminally ill can’t even buy medicaments. During the last 13 years Caritas Ternopil has taken care about people who're not able to take care of themselves. And now your support is needed!

For the last 13 years on the basis of its organizations in 8 regions of Ukraine, with help of "Home Care" project of "Caritas Ukraine" has provided assistance to over 7 thousands of lonely elderly people and those, requiring third party care. As well we are running 8 "Home Care" information and consulting centers, 6 rehabilitation equipment loan out centres, 6 laundries for elderly clients.

During the last year "Caritas" workers day-by-day has been taking care of 500 the most needed beneficiaries. They are assisting with medical services, body care of ill and feeble individuals, housekeeping, solving of legal issues, follow-up of psychologist, organization of recreation, consultations of clients, their relatives and caregivers etc. Our social services in this field are recognized as quality benchmarks among state services, civic organizations and international experts.

We'll be very grateful for giving us the possibility to buy medical supplies for a total of 20 000 UAH for 1 year of work "Home Care" Centre in Ternopil.
