Mom writes to us: "A child's life after being diagnosed with diabetes inevitably changes, both for the child and for the parents. Constant monitoring of blood sugar levels becomes an integral part of the daily routine, but maintaining a stable "line" on the chart is not easy - there is always something that will affect it: mood, weather, illnesses, physical or emotional stress, unexpected joy or anxiety.
Over time, a reflex is developed to constantly monitor sugar levels via phone. Mirroslava has already become accustomed to new rules that are not subject to discussion. She gave an injection - eat, measure sugar; always answer phone calls. There are almost no physical restrictions, but it is necessary to take into account the level of insulin, the intensity and duration of physical activity, adjusting the activity to the state of the body. The greatest difficulties are added by the need to accept diabetes as a part of life. It is difficult - you need to realize it, learn to live with it and adapt the disease to your pace of life, and not vice versa."
We sincerely thank all donors and subscribers of dobro.ua for supporting Mirroslava!
