Mirrochka is currently in Year 2 at a comprehensive school and Year 2 at a music school. She also attends a technical modelling club at the Youth Creative Centre and has tried her hand at boxing. However, she had to temporarily put this contact sport on hold due to the use of a pump, cannula and sensor. So, they decided to enrol her in dance classes!
The child is gradually becoming more independent and autonomous thanks to sensors that transmit blood sugar level data directly to her mother's phone. She can remotely monitor the readings and remind her daughter when she needs to eat something.
The path of a child with diabetes is not easy. It requires a high level of discipline and responsibility, but at the same time, it teaches self-awareness and helps to appreciate and take care of one's health.
In rainy weather and during times of viral activity, Myroslava tries to stay at home and monitor her blood sugar levels.
